LOWER PRODUCTION COSTS BY THE USE OF AUTOMATIC MACHINERY | SEPTEMBER 1956

“The growth of the textile industry has been the most helpful in the industrial growth of the whole world.”
In view of the rapid industrialization that has been going on,particularly in the last decade,of undeveloped and underdeveloped countries,and the prominence of the Textile Industry in this industrialization,it is obvious,that,export of textiles becomes more and more difficult in view of the increased competition in a diminishing world market.In an effort to meet this increased competition in the export market the Government have now decided to permit the installation of a number of automatic looms in order to assist the Textile Industry of this country to compete in a world market on an equal footing with other countries,who have enjoyed the advantage so far of the most modern types of automatic machinery with their lower production costs.
