Socialism can be achieved without nationalisation: Dr. John Matthai | January 1956

Dr. John Matthai, Vice- Chancellor, Bombay University, said here yesterday that there was no need for suppressing individual and private enterprise in order to achieve the goal of a socialistic pattern of society.
"Personally," he observed, "I do not think that nationalization of industries is essential for socialism, because all its objectives can be achieved by other methods."
