ROTARY CLUB ADOPTS DELHI VILLAGE| 1956

The Rotary Club, in the circumstances[undernourished and malaria-ridden villagers], stepped into this village, where 26 of the 35 houses had been washed away by the Jamuna floods last October, to distribute much-needed relief to the poverty-stricken villagers. The Club has now adopted the hamlet and has an ambitious plan of transforming it into an ideal village within the next few months.
